Hi everybody
First of all HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
OK,
decided to part with my TA100R as I'm not using it any more. This was
my 2nd TA100 and for me they are one of the best acoustic amps out
there.
Essentially it's in pretty much perfect condition
throughout and everything works faultlessly. Never had a single issue
with it or indeed with my last one. It's an early 90s model according
to the last owner although I have no way of confirming that but will
include a photo of the ID tag on the back as someone may be able to work
out what year it is. I have the manual in photocopied form (the
original was lost by the previous owner) but it's easy to download.
This is just a quick run through of the control panels:
Front PanelThis
is a 2 channel amp with 2 inputs on channel 1 (Piezo Lo-Level and
Active Hi-Level) and also two inputs on channel 2 (standard 1/4" jack
and an XLR connector for Phantom Power).
Channel 1 has a Gain
control (with Push/Pull for Reverb) as well as a Hi-Trim and Lo-Trim.
Channel 2 has a single Gain control (with Push/Pull for Reverb) and a
switch for Phantom Power.
The amp also has Master Equalization offering a Graphic Equalizer with 5 sliders ranging from 100 through to 10K.
There is a separate Reverb section offering 16 types of reverb and a Level control. These are Alesis reverbs.
There is an excellent Notch Filter with an In/Out switch.
Finally there is a Master Gain control that is Push/Pull offering a Shape control when pulled.
Rear PanelOn the rear panel there is a Phase In and Phase Reverse switch
A Power On/Off switch
Earth Lift switch
Jack socket for a Reverb switching pedal
Effects Loop with Send and Return sockets
Link jack socket
Two XLR sockets: DI Pre-EQ and DI Post-EQ
Happy
to ship it via UPS with whom I have an a/c but for some reason I can't
get a quote at the moment. However, although it is around 16 kilos
mark it is relatively compact so I'm guessing shipping will be around
the £15 quid. Maybe a bit less. However, if you're anywhere near
Cambridgeshire please do pop over and try it!!
I have stuck it on
Ebay for £250 but I'd really like £200 with a paypal gift payment. I
have loads of photos and can easily take more but here's a selection:
