Damaged Friedman JJ-100 Shell sold

Bit of a strange one, i have just had my JJ-100 delivered and the head shell has been damaged, the bottom has come away from the sides, It is fixable and i will be having it repaired and i am having a new posted over.

Is there any interest in this?

So you are looking for a buyer who has a JJ100 with a headshell with more damage than yours, but isn't willing or able to get it replaced with an undamaged one?

or he's just looking for someone interested in a JJ100 that doesn't mind it having some damage to the headshell. if the price is right I suspect there are potential buyers. Might be worth adding some pics and a price in the current condition and a price if you get it repaired.

I don't think he is selling the whole amp though, just the headshell.

Ad says 'headshell' for sale, not the whole amp.

(I should say I am severely jet lagged at the moment, so I might be posting even more perversely than I usually do- I'll be ok isn a day or so... I love youse guys..... etc)

A concern for me would be someone wanting this, putting an amp in and flogging it as an actual JJ.

Hmmm. Actually I might be interested. Any pics and price? I'll take it damaged if thats easier, I have all the gear to repair it.

i think if you bought it as a JJ because of the head shell you would need you head checking, its just for the shell not the amp, no controllers on the front just a empty shell.

He's saying someone could make a cheap looking amp kit, put it in your headshell and flog it off as a JJ.

I think I'm just so unbelievably cautious about used guitars now due to all the Chibson rubbish out there but usually I know what to look out for. With an amp other than using my ears which I couldn't do on a long distance eBay deal I'd have very little knowledge to look out for a fake other than maybe the shell and chassis. If they looked right I'd probably just jump straight in.
