Anyone have a Line 6 Lowdown 110 or similar for sale?

Priorities:

Size: needs to be compact (eg. 1x10, but not smaller)

Price: less than £100 (or maybe a bit more for the right thing)

Brand: something I've heard and that is reputable

TimmyO has a Markbass combo for sale at £300 in the classifieds. A fair bit over your budget but it is compact and it is a good bit of kit.

Cheers @fretmeister - my concern about the one you linked is the low wattage - the Line 6 110 is 75 watt which sounds a bit more versatile.

I have found an 80s Cube 60 which could fit the bill but a bit higher priced - any thoughts on these? Also, do you know the dimensions?

I've not tried the Cube 60.

I have tried the Line 6 and I thought it was rubbish to be honest - a real lack of oomph.

How do you intend to use the amp? I use my Cube 30 with an orchestra - including quite novice trombone players who haven't learned how to play quietly yet, and it's plenty loud enough for that.

Not loud enough for a rock band of course, but neither would the Line 6 be. You'd need about 300 W for that application, depending on the db of the speaker cab.

Use is fairly low level - the Lowdown 110 I previously owned was more than adequate, hence looking for another. The key is size, I want something small but able to accompany a church band plus occasional use with an instrumental ensemble.

Is a laney rb1 richter any good to you? It's 15w and a 8" cone but surprisingly loud and the inbuilt compressor limiter is decent.
Its the upright version, not the kickback.
