I'm selling both amps as I am in all likelihood having to move house due to my Dad's stroke etc and I won't be able to crank these beasties.

So, as much as it pains, they are offered to my great friends, admirers, critics, enemies, and corksniffers in our wonderful community.

Hiwatt is an early MG, has real Partridges and Fanes. It's 50w.
TR was rebuilt by Jesse Hoff and has Patriots

Hiwatt is 8/10 cosmetically, Twin9/10.

I won't ship either as far too big.

£650 Twin

Both are mechanically/electrically 10/10 and the Twin, due to Jesse's work, is exceptional

    Cheers. He's coming home tomorrow to my Mum's.

    We've had to literally build a bedroom downstairs as he can't get upstairs. Can't walk at all.

    The next task is to put a 'turntable' area in the downstairs bathroom. Annoyingly, my Mum and Dad are both ex civil servants (horticulture and environment) and their pension just takes them over the threshold for grants. Very annoying.

    just to confirm the above that the hiwatt sa212 is possibly the best amplifier ever
    The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

    I say this with good intentions... I think you are a bit of an ass clown if you sell that Hiwatt, you know that you will end up buying another one.
