Fender Supersonic 22 - £600 £530
Bought from new. Gigged a bit but no major marks or damage. Comes with footswitch and cover. Went through two of these to get this one as the others had valve and reverb issues.

Fender Deluxe Reverb Reissue - SOLD
1990's model, has the infamous ticking tremelo found on a lot of Fender amps but it can be cured by a tech. My 70's Vibro Champ has the same issue.

Marshall Vintage Modern 2266c 2x12 Combo - £295 £250
Great soudning Marshall amp that covers JTM to JCM territory with the Low and High dynamic range modes. Built in plate style digital reverb and footswitch. Came to me with Gold Lion outputs valves and Tung Sol pre amp valves. The Gold Lions are on their way out from the sounds of the amp but I still have the older Marshall branded valves. The knob for the "Detail" control has been damaged but still works.

Thanks for looking. All amps are based in Leeds, UK and can be delivered by me personally for price of petrol. I would prefer cash on collection and I will accept PayPal or bank transfers. Any questions please feel free to ask.

Cheers,
Shaun

I'm interested in the Marshall Shaun and, incredibly, am not too far away from you, across the A65 in Kendal.  Whenever I see an amp I fancy it is usually collection only from Cornwall, Belfast or the Isle of Wight.

Does the amp have any dings, nicks, damage worth hearing about?

Nothing that I haven't mentioned or documented. The valves are definitely shot and will need replacing and the the knob is damaged as pictured.

I hear that, I drove an 11 hour round trip to London to pick up a JCM800 last weekend!

Could do with these being shifted as they're taking up needed space.

I know this is well documented online, but what is your take on the differences between the two Fenders? Headroom, clean sound, just breaking up sound, use with pedals etc. Possibly interested having just missed out on a Princeton with same tremelo issue. Cheers.

Honestly, not a lot. They sound so similar at clean settings with the only difference I can hear being more mids in the supersonic. They break up at similar levels and by 6 things get more saturated with not much increase in volume. There's probably a reason they didn't add tremolo to the Supersonic as it would make the Deluxe obsolete I feel.

No-one bought the Marshall yet? That's a steal for that, even though a dog appears to have chewed the knob…

What happened to it - looks like pliers have been used on it. Is the pot OK?

I'm not a massive fan of this model but if I was closer I would have it, it's worth almost double that.

I wouldn't be using the tremolo (as I've got a Minifooger Trem already)....so, and maybe a daft question, would the ticking occur when the tremolo is dialled right down, even I f I want to use the vibrato channel's input for the brighter tones?

Just I'm very keen on getting a brand new Deluxe Reverb, so was going to sell my HRD, but at that price, if the tone on your DR was up there with the new DRs, I'd be very tempted to go for it.

The ticking stops as soon as you disengage the "vibrato" switch on the pedal or turn the intensity all the way to zero.

Haha not a dog I'm afraid, although they have been known to chew up a pair of Beyer DT770's. The knob got damaged while I was wrestling the amp out of the door of my 3 door hatch back. The pot itself is fint and works as intended. The knob fits back on fine and you don't notice it unless you're up close so it doesn't ruin the cosmetics too much... Marshall are meant to look beat up though, right?

It's taking up space and although I'm really suprised its still here I'd take £250 for it. Likewise £550 on the DRRI.

Likewise if the Deluxe Reverb weren't exactly the same size as the amp I just got rid of for being too big, I'd be all over that like dip on a chip

EDIT - Just bothered to read the other posts in the thread and saw the answer about the tremolo!

    Hello mate,

I'm a bit interested in the deluxe reverb! I'm just wondering about the ticking tremolo, when using the vibrato channel, does it still have a ticking sound with the tremolo is on 0? So could you just  use the reverb with no tremolo and it work just fine?

Also, any additional info about the tubes? How old etc? Do you know if it's the original speaker?

    Thanks!

It's the 90's model, stock as far as I'm aware. Original Jensen speaker. Will take some additional photos.
