Contemplating selling my 1990 teal stripe Bandit. In good condition for it's age, comes complete with footswitch and Scorpion speaker.

It's in full working order, and I've just replaced the main filter capacitors, as one of them went faulty. Also cleaned pots and jacks etc so it should be good for another 25 years now! :) No knobs missing or broken.

Also, I've jet washed and polished the cabinet, and put the reverb tank in a new tolex bag. As you know the tolex on these gets quite skanky after a couple of decades and never looks clean; well, this one now does! It's well-used, but with a cared-for shine.

£70 collected. £85 posted.

Pic later.

An absolute bargain for one of the most robust gigging amps, EVER!

No valves to buy and if its recently serviced, its good for ...... well, forever!

Yep, surprised I haven't had any offers at all for this, given how many times they get recommended!

It's no hardship though, as they're always handy to have around. (If I keep too many MJWs, I end up selling them :)  )

  • My mate's dad had one of these. He used to let us use it as our PA system! So there you go, bomb proof AND multi-functional. A bargain at twice the price.

    Reluctantly :)

I'd have to cut down a big carton. Fair bit of bubblewrap.

    Say £15?

  • Based on the reaction my Mrs just gave me when I suggested it I think I better pass. Sorry. I'm desperately low on brownie points as is!

  • Really glad you got it sold, was feeling a bit guilty about getting your hopes up!

Apparently when I say stupid things like "honestly my Love, once I buy this guitar its no more new gear this year" I'm expected to actually keep my word...*harumph*
