Hi I'm thinking about selling my silver snake skinned Zilla fat boy cab that's presently loaded with a couple of Celestion Black Back G12H.
The Fatboy is an over sized 2x12, made from 15mm birch ply, it handles the bottom end like nothing else...
If you'd like a stack but don't have the space to transport it then this is the one for you as it sounds like a 4x12 without the bulk.
I'm happy to sell the speakers separately if required, but I'm not sure how much to pitch it at
The cab is well used and scuffed in places but structurally sound with no holes in the grill cloth.
I got the cab from Zilla and loaded it with the celestions when I downsized my Marshall rigs a few years back.
I originally paid £250 for the empty cab as it was the ex display one that was used for demos and reviews.

I'm after £300 delivered.
I'm in Exeter so pick up is preferred but I could ship if need be.
This image is of my cab that's still shown on the Zilla website, it's the silver snake skin one at the bottom.
The cab is loaded with two black backed Celestion G12h 30watt 16ohm speakers wired in parallel making the cab 8ohms

The speaker codes are T1281 making it a Celestion cone made for Marshall cabs ( I already knew that coz I had taken them out of my old Marshall 4x12 cab when downsizing).
These speakers are highly sought after as they are responsible for most of the recognise rock tones on the planet
According to dr.decibel at celestion, the T1281 is the Marshall labelled version of a T1534.
T1281 was a stock speaker used by Marshall, usually fitted into '100' logo cabs.
It is regarded by many as "the Hendrix speaker", because he can clearly be seen playing '100' logo Marshall cabs in some TV & concert footage.
As can Jimmy Page in some of his concert footage, Richie Blackmore, Eric Clapton, etc.
The T1281 is probably the most sought after greenback model of them all!

I'm based in Exeter and given the nature of the cab would prefer pick up rather than shipping but if that's the only option I'll ship at the buyers expense.

I'm no expert but I know what I like and these celestion sound superb in the Fatboy, giving 4x12 tones from a 2x12 format.
The only reason I'm selling is coz I'm on crutches now and can't physically lift the cab out of the car.
So I'm reliant on other people to move my gear about and have gone down to 1x12's due to necessity.
As I now use a red box for front of house, I only need a 1x12 as a monitor in conjunction with IEM's
