Next up a framus 112 open back cab, unloaded as I used the speaker from it for a combo £50

  • Not much info on the prowler... What is it?

Maybe I'll start a thread, not much info online... But would value your thoughts!

@theprettydamned, it's from the same series as the ultras! Clean channel is super clean and doesn't break up until you really push it very hard and loud, with the bright switch engaged it's actually quite fendery with plenty of twang for single coils. The drive channel is pretty much the same as my old ultra, with the gain boost out its mild breakup through to classic rock leads, then with the gain boost engaged it takes on the classic peavey ultra valve tone, it's powerful and punchy. The drive channel also has a volume boost for getting solos to punch through, to me it sounds like it adds a hair of gain too. Proper tank reverb that's pretty expansive, great for adding a but of glass to those clean tones! The back has a global resonance switch, either tight or loose, tight is the more modern setting with the loose setting giving more flap in the low end.
It's a killer 45w 6l6 1x12 combo, usa built, very portable but also very very loud! I'm not fussed if it doesn't sell, I'm happy to keep it because it's a real sleeping star of an amp!
