my sc30 rig , its a monster set up. definatly the 4x10 is killer . i have no clue how much they even go for mine is flightcased but i live in ireland and if i did decide to sell post would be at least 100 quid to uk ! you would prob get one cheaper in the uk . i use my combo all the time and it sounds huge , would it really be worth breaking up this beautifull pair :)

Don't you love the Matchless thing of building the worlds heaviest gear, then putting a single leather handle on the top.... I have an ESD 85 cab, 2x12 made for the HC85, its deeper than the standard ESD 2x12. Sounds amazing. I'm never selling it :)

I ran it through a Dr z 1x12 with a creamback speaker and it sounded awesome.

Yes I think the 2x10 is ok but I think 4-10 or 2-12 would just let it breath a bit more

Totally agree! The Matchless 4x12 is exactly the same weight as a DC30 and has one leather handle on the top!

I had a burgundy one with a brown grill that used to belong to Rich Robinson of the Black Crowes, and yes, like a dick I sold it! I think that Matchless burgundy is the nicest colour for an amp ever.

I once had a Clubman Reverb but never had the proper cab at the time and it never really sounded right. I sold it to a freind who ran it through a celestion gold and it sounded great. However I think you owe it to yourself to get the proper cab with mismatched speakers. On a different note I love those old SC-30 combos, especially in burgundy! You don't see many SC-30's over here.
