Sell me a combo amp budget of £700

Hi guys,

I am looking for a combo amp that is vintage voiced, aimed at blues/jazz/60's 70's Blues rock.

My stipulations are that it must have reverb.

1x12 is preferable but still talk to me about 10" or 2x12

I'm not looking for high gain stuff, I'm not after a HRD or Orange amp.

I'm happy to look at amps that are under budget so long as they fit the criteria.

So let me know what you've got.

You could check out the Laney Lionheart range. I've just acquired one and it would definitely tick those boxes.

I have had one of those and just the other day put out a "wtb" add on here for one.

Great amps, really like them. I had the 4x10 combo which was a little much bulk to carry.

I'd recommend a S/H Soldano Astroverb, you'll have a bit of change for a nice pedal too.

Wolftone W20

Ok - so a lightweight head (el84 powered) and a solid 1x12 ( celestion vintage 30)

Designed so you could carry the head in one hand and maybe a guitar in the other - the cab you'd make use of the two well positioned carry handles.

A bit like a Vox or a Gibson Goldtone

Lush spring reverb and tremolo

Works great with pedals

Half power mode is great for home etc

Great for jazz, blues, old school rock.

British made

Poss a bit out of initial budget but worth mentioning and we can haggle

vht pitbull 50/12, incredible fender cleans , marshall drive channel ( the 50 /12 is not high gain at all , not to be mistaken with the pitbull CL) reverb , series parallel fx loop, class a /ab switch and SS /Tube rectifier option !
