It's luscious. Very smooth and full despite the compact dimensions, with a sparkly top and surprisingly thick midrange.

But I'm covered for all that, so God knows why I bought it.

Newbie to Redplate - are they point to point wired? Is it possible to pick this up on a weekday?

They're 100% handwired, yes - no PCBs. I haven't opened this amp up but if you google "redplate chassis" images you'll see big orange capacitors on tag boards.

I work from home on Thursdays.
