will interparcel insure an acoustic?

As the title says really! And if so/ not does anyone have any tips for sending? I've sent dozens of electrics but no acoustics over the years and I'm pretty nervous about it. If i go for a timed delivery i.e. before 10.30 would it be safer to minimise time in a van etc?

Thanks so much in advance!

I believe so, assuming it's in a hardcase and the hardcase is in a good box.

  • I just sent a Martin acoustic in padded gig bag and two cardboard cases around it via them.

I've rummaged through their terms and conditions and haven't found anything to suggest musical instruments aren't covered by their insurance.  Might be worth a quick phone call to be sure though - I've always got through quick and found them helpful when I've had reason to call them up.
