    Love Lower Decks, it gets stronger with each season, and now very much has its own identity as well as making lots of references to the other Trek shows.

    I tried to like this show because I like star trek, but did someone tell the female voice actors to talk as fast as possible all the time? Or do they just really read scripts that way wherever they go? They really ruined it for me because they sound like they're eating their words thereby ruining the jokes and i wanna tell them to calm the fk down because they're not getting paid per word.

    I think it's the reality of clearing a Star Trek plot in 25 minutes - plus that's how they cram in all the references - they don't highlight them so long-term fans can have a little smile when they get them.
