Hi,

Now sorted.

I'm after some custom shop pickups for a (squire) stratocaster.

Should be hum canceling in positions 2+4.

For a 7¼" fingerboard radius.

What's out there?

All the best
Martin

Is there any specific Fender era that you hope to emulate?

If not, there is a pair of Seymour Duncan SSL-1 single coils listed in the classifieds. (No affiliation between me and the seller.)

For the money that you might spend on Fender CS pickups, you could have your free choice of the British makers and still have change to spare.

My experience of Squier Silver Series guitar ownership has been that their natural acoustic sound is a little thin. Hence, slightly overwound pickups with increased mid range would help to balance things out.

As an example, compare and contrast Alegree Frigid Haze and Texan Hailstorm models. Maybe, combine the two as an FHn/FHm/THb set?

    Other pickup brands are available.
    Be seeing you.

I have a set of Custom Shop '60 pickups that I've just pulled from my Strat - drop me a message for further details if interested!
