I love em!

I've now accidentally started collecting them... Currently on the hit list is:

Boss Angry Driver
Boss FZ1 Fuzz
Boss Tone Bender (if it's a semi reasonable price - I know they're not cheap)
Boss TR2 Tremolo

To be honest, If you have any Boss pedals you would like to flog, try me!

Cheers
Damo

They're so good! I think as guitarists, we all usually start with Boss, buy a load of unnecessary pedals in the middle and then go back to Boss! I love they're built like a tank and easy to use on a gig!

We need to see pictures of the collection, I've often thought about selling my pedals and going all boss. I had the FRV1 and the FDR1 and sold them both stupidly!

The collection is relatively new... although I am lucky enough to have some good'uns! I change my board most weekends depending on the gig...

Here's last weekend's board: I tried to go all Japanese/vintage but had to make some compromises. The TU3 is a boring modern one and the OD3 is a really nice clear drive so that stays on the board. The OD1 is glorious! CE3 is nice too. I don't use too much chorus but sometimes use it to thicken the sound! Finally the DD3 is an old Japanese one that's really cool.

As @Lebarque says above, they just work. I find them very simple to use which is what you need on a gig. Balls to messing with Strymon parameters in the middle of a song! They're all bomb proof and sound great!

I would recommend trying an all Boss board for a gig. Best thing I did I think - I sound much better for it!

Chap on gumtree near me (don't know him) has BD2, DS2, and a CH1 for sale, seem a bit pricey but been a while since I bought a boss pedal! https://www.gumtree.com/p/guitar-instrument/boss-bd-2-blues-driver-guitar-pedal-mint-/1462139842

I've got a TC Nova system coming in today and if it performs as I remember then I'll have a boxed and vgc DS-1, SD-1 and a BD-2 to go.  I can't remember off the top of my head what I paid for the BD-2 but the others I think £45 each sounds about right ?

Sure thing , the Nova didn’t arrive today after all but fingers crossed I’ll message you tomorrow as IIRC the analogue drives in the Nova are RAT and TS clones and will do the job

It's a bit too much delay for me I'm afraid! The bravest I've gone is a DD3!
