A set of brand new, only ever unwrapped to photo Oatmeal Stout Strat pickups from Bootstrap.

These are hand-wound in a garage in Ohio, and are well respected on other forums as being excellent value for money (and yes, they do come wrapped in brown paper!). I've got some other sets in a strat and a tele and they really are excellent pickups. Specs below (direct from website):

  • Forbon® vulcanized fiber bobbins
  • 43 AWG pure copper wire with ruby enamel insulation
  • Fully charged ALNICO 5 magnets
  • RW/RP middle pickup for noise cancellation
  • Push-back cloth leads with 22 AWG pre-tinned wire for easy installation
  • Lightly potted in a mix of beeswax and paraffin
  • Chrome height adjustment screws and spring
  • Resistance: ~8.6K, 8.6K, 9.5K*
