First build - Crimson - super Strat

I did the 6day Crimson Guitar course in May. It was a lot of fun.
I went down there with no experience and a plan to keep it simple, hoping to get a decent guitar out of it.
It turned out so good, it is currently my number1 and gigged already.

Ash body - gorgeous figureing, even has a little bit of flame.
Was going to use Alder for lightweight but then I saw this piece of Ash. The plan was to keep it natural and use the Amber stain sanded back to make the grain pop but it looked so good when i put it on I left it all on.
Maple neck, Ebony fretboard, Luminlay side dots, Locking tuners, own frankenfenderfirebird headstock shape.
BK Holy Divers - picked them up 2nd hand. They sound SO good.

The course was a super intense learning experience with added advantage of learning from all the guys on the course, we were all doing something different so learned even more from each others builds. I am well happy!
