Hand made Midi - Bass pedal project

DCS222DCS222 Frets: 45
This is a hand made Midi - Bass Pedal.
It's not had any "finish" applied as I was always intending to add more sound modules into the unit... but have run out of time and space to keep it.

What you get is the bass pedal and midi-sound unit that can provide clear, single bass notes though your  own amplifier.  The key can be moved in octaves by the transpose function  (you do not get any amp or special effects).

Still with me? Well this is where it can get interesting... I have left it with lots of potential for fiddlers/inventors/creators to add to it... thus allowing almost any tones you want.

If you take the midi-cable from before the bass-synth card, you can use it to control a whole host of items... it's a midi signal. (think of other synth drivers or cards... like the midi-tech piano box). Or you can make your own sounds, like Fuzz or tremolo units and stick them in the ample housing (that was my initial plan) and have them after the bass signal.

However, if you're less of an inventor-type, you can plug in a multi-effects unit after the bass-synth card (like the incredible Zoom Multi Stomp MS-60B) In the video, I used a simple Boss Katana guitar amplifier... this meant I didn't need to have an amp as well! Brilliant!!!

This item is big and I won't be posting it... collection only please. However, I could help with delivery to Furness (Cumbria) region if the price remains close to asking price of £150 (need to recoup the parts invested in this.)

So I’ve just learned how to connect the bass pedal, via midi (and an I-rig) to my old I-pad… which has a copy of the totally free synth software by audiokit!
All of a sudden, a massive range of sounds have opened up… This video is of my discovery.
