WTB Hotter output Nickel covered humbucker wanted for R7 Les Paul

Hi all,

I have a 2018 R7 Les Paul and as good as the bridge custombucker is I’m looking for something with more bottom end and more top end.

The guitar has mids but no bottom end presence or cut. I generally live on a heavy crunch setting - think Foo Fighters/Greenday heaviness with palm muting.

Ideally the pickup would need some sort of wax potting to eliminate microphonic squeal but I don’t want to kill the dynamics/clarity completely either.

if you have anything that fits the criteria please let me know.

I’ve attached a link to my band and what I need to accomplish- I’m the rhythm guy.

Or a matching set, I’d even be open to suggestions.

I love the MHS humbuckers in my 2016 Es335 vos 1958 but rarely come up and I don’t know how they’d sound in a solid body.

I quite like the 490t bridge in my sg but does lack the dynamic/clarity and size of the custombucker sound.

Was a fan of the 57 classic pickup but has been a while since I’ve used one but from what I remember is was very ballsy.

I’m looking for something which is a cross of Foo Fighters/Evh/Greenday but a little more complex/detail with the ability to chug/palm mute when required.

Chris Shiflett seems to use Seymour Duncan JB/59s on a lot of his humbucker guitars so maybe those?
