New project guitar day

I got inspired by the idea of turning a cheap twelve-string into a seven-string acoustic (see other thread) and this happened to catch my eye on eBay. It's a 1970s Japanese guitar badged Aspen. Guess it was intended as a copy of a Martin D35-12, though it's not a very accurate one. Nice looking beast, though I suspect all laminate. Missing the truss rod cover and one of the fret position markers and has been badly strung as a six-string.

More of a concern is that the top has bellied a bit and the bridge is tilting forwards. The intonation is a tiny bit sharp and the action is higher than I'd like, though playable. Would this be a good candidate for a Bridge Doctor?

Also, whoever strung it as a six-string seems to have lost the remaining bridge pins, so I'll need to buy another before embarking on my plan.
