Wtb Strat bridge pickup

Wanted..Strat pickup. I have a mij ‘62 reissue. Currently has a Fralin blues in the neck (which is great.. Seymour alnico in the bridge (which I think will move to the middle) and a Fender noiseless currently in the middle… which is pretty “Mehh!” So I’m looking for a good, fairly vintagey sounding, versatile strat bridge pickup. I play a wide range of stuff from modern pop/rock covers to Steely Dan to vintage Soul and even have a stab at vintage RocknRoll from time to time… so the high gainy Yngwie type things are probably not right (unless someone convinces me it’s actually very flexible).….
and I can be a bit of a tight wad… I’m sure they’re very good but I cannot believe what people are paying for these Ron Ellis things!
So… what you got?? (….Runs and hides behind a rock with a telescope).

Not selling, but iron gear Texas loco or normal/ overwound pig iron should fit the bill.

I use iron gear and also have other pickups in other guitars such as bare knuckle, bulldog, oil city etc and the iron gear stand up brilliantly.

also consider putting a base plate on your bridge pickup and wiring it to a tone pit if it’s not already

Thanks for that. Yes I have a base plate ready for it and bridge position is wired to a tone pot. I also have what’s referred to these days as the Gilmour mod.

Either of the Iron gears mentioned will do you proud.

Ive got a tom anderson Va 1 /2  vintage sounding bridge in the draw, that has a fat non ice pick type sound that has a coil tap to allow the quack in pos 2 ... its boxed and 50 sheets  and split the postage .... p,s it looks like a normal pole piece single coil in black without a cover ....
