Honestly no idea on both, Is there a way to tell regarding pre or post?
I could unsolder to see the bobbins if its important.

No difference at all but this does not prevent some people from attempting to charge extra for "pre". Hence, the wink.

I was merely curious about the bobbin colour. The covers have obviously been removed at some point. I hoped that, if you did it, you could confirm what the colours were.

I have only ever seen PRS #7 humbuckers in metal covers - either nickel or gold plated.
