Before handing my hard earned cash to Mr Anderton next Tuesday does anyone have a Zoom MS-70 CDR they would like to sell?
Must be in full working order and immaculate mint condition preferred.
Thanks as always

Just a PSA: the MS-100BT has the same engine and after they ceased making this series, Zoom allowed owners to download all of the algos for free.

And if you don't need the stereo inputs, the MS50G V3 firmware has most of, if not all of the MS70CDR algos.

One thing I will say, I've had the MS-50G and the MS-70 CDR. For me, the former is a tone-sucker and I don't know if it's signal path or the preamps or overdrives, even when not selected, but there's a difference and I sold it on and got the MS-70 CDR and didn't experience any of that.

If you need the unit just for effects and no amps, ODs etc, definitely go for the MS-70 CDR and as has been said, there was firmware update allowing for more effects but some of the latter ones already came with the update.

I've been using 2 for a couple of years and they're fantastic units.

@Kebabkid Brilliant, thanks for the comparison, appreciated. I've just pulled the trigger on an MS-50G but, like you, don't need the amp sims or OD's. I've already worked out how to overwrite the effects, removing the ones I don't want and installing the ones that I do from the 50G, 60B and 70CDR so I'll (hopefully) end up with an FX unit customised to my personal needs.
