Here's what Line6 have to say about the Relay G10S:
"
The Line6 Relay® G10S is a compact instrument wireless system that frees guitarists and bassists to move around the stage untethered. A member of the Relay Wireless family of products that are renowned for their reliability, the Relay G10S wireless system features a rugged metal stompbox receiver that easily integrates into a pedalboard, as well as simple plug-and-play operation. Thanks to its intelligent setup features, the unit immediately locates and locks onto the strongest available wireless frequency as soon as the transmitter is docked in the receiver.
The Relay G10S provides pristine 24-bit audio quality, free from dropouts and interference, and has an impressive 130' line-of-sight range. RF and battery status indicators are large and always visible, and you get both a 1/4" main output to feed your amp or pedalboard and an XLR DI output for connecting the Relay G10S system directly to a P.A. The system also includes the compact G10T transmitter, which plugs into your instrument's input and features a rechargeable battery that provides seven hours of playing time on a single charge."
It's a terrific, easy to use wireless unit that is solid, robust - it's made of black satin finished Adamantium tough metal - and mercifully free of the school-sports-trophy-esque plastic chassis and that easy-to-break charger port of the earlier G10. Plus it's, without doubt, one of the most reliable wireless units out there, if rehearsals and indoor gigs are your wheelhouse. If only I could speak even half as glowingly about my SKY Hub. Ha ha hahaha. The G10S receiver unit takes up about as much room as a regular Boss-style pedal on your pedal board and its "bars" lighting system is always clear and easy to read, even on the darkest of stages so you always know if your signal is good and how much charge you have left. It won't however, let you hack into any nearby pizza deliverer's ear piece and redirect them to your house instead of their intended customers. Maybe that feature will be in the next iteration? Talk about an open goal marketing concept anyway.
Here's a demo from a Sweetwater to tell you more:
Why am I selling? Well, I made a rather cheeky offer on a Boss SY-1 synthesiser dooh dah and, let's be honest, IS IT MY FAULT HE ACCEPTED?!! No. Nope. Not even a little bit. I'm clearly 100% blame free where this GAS purchase is concerned. Although my husband appears to be a little on the fence where this slice of impenetrable logic is concerned. But heck, I have to pay the seller so something has to be sold to cover the necessary moulah. And so off this goes. Gotta say though, when my coffers are in a healthier state, I'll be buying another. Because tripping over a cable might be funny the first time (no) but the 15th (also, no)?
Included in this sale is a right angled adapter jack to allow you to use the G10T (transmitter) with guitars that feature side mounted input jacks eg Gibson Les Paul which allows the G10T to sit at a less obtrusive angle.
Unless you
like obtrusive?
Then run WILD (and all free from the worry of tripping over a pesky cable) you crazy little Hob Nob.
<salutes>
***SOLD***Price: £110 firm (included p+p, UK Mainland only. Assumes PayPal F&F but if, for any reason, you prefer PayPal Goods then that's absolutely grand but please add the necessary to cover the seller's fees. Thank you.)
