Taken from a Jackson I just bought off a forum member.

They're the older type with the logo at the bottom of the pickup, as opposed to in the center like the new ones.

Black, fully working, plenty of lead.

£40 each + postage.

One sold. One left.

    Potentially interesting. 

    I just acquired a 1996 Jackson Performer PS2. Upgrade choices will depend on whether I am preparing the guitar for myself or a local shred fiend.



    EDIT - I would be just as interested in an EMG-SAX or -SX.

    Correct! So, direct mounted. But with single coils I find you can just fill the wholes with resin/a lick of superglue. Anything for the screw to bite in to as there's no actual "thread" on them like there is with a humbucker.

    Thank you for your swift reply. 

    I am about to use the superglue trick to mount two Jackson J135 single coils onto a scratchplate prior to selling them.

    The baseplate condition of your Duncans would be immaterial because the Jackson Performer is direct mount too.

    Unfortunately, my project Jackson has veered towards two DiMarzio Track format pickups already in my possession. I now seek a DiMarzio humbucker for the bridge position. Definitely black polepieces. Maybe green! 

    Might as well make a feature of the upgrades.

    Bump.

    Also in regards to the mounting holes - it appears the screws used to direct-mount them were small enough to not result in the holes being resized, so these will still suspend from a pickguard without modification.
