Preamp levels

My two main acoustics are a Breedlove Atlas and a Taylor 710e. The preamp on the Breedlove is massively louder than the Taylor. For example if I’m using both guitars and switch between them, to get the same level on the pa I need to turn the Breedlove down to almost nothing. Is that normal for acoustics to be so different or do I have a fault with the Breedlove?

Do they sound OK at the balanced (but wildly different) volumes you need to set them to? Or alternatively, can you use two channels on the PA?

I'm not an "onboard" preamps sort of guy, so I couldn't tell you about differences between the preamps fitted by different brands. I'm a K&K plus external preamp sort of chap and this doesn't happen to me. I'm interested in the answer, too, purely out of curiiosity.

Yes they sound fine. Only thing with the Breedlove is it can ovderive my tremolo a bit
