The MONOCHROME DOUBLE - PARALLEL incorporates two choice NRG Effects Monochrome Series effects into one enclosure, with a parallel signal chain setup (input signal is split, sent through both effects simultaneously, then mixed back together at the output).


The BLEND control allows you to mix and balance the amount of each effect to create an extremely wide variety of tones that wouldn’t be possible with a normal series setup.


The FS MODE toggle switch gives three options to how the FS footswitch operates and controls which effects are active.

The CENTRE position gives A/B, flip/flop between each effect, so you can footswitch between only effect 1 and only effect 2.

Switched RIGHT allows effect 1 to be switched in and out of the BLEND.

Switched LEFT allows effect 2 to be switched in and out of the BLEND.

When one effect is switch out of the BLEND, the remaining effect is at 100% mix volume.

All of these options are clearly displayed by the status LEDs of each effect.


BLEND

Mix / Balance of the two effects in parallel. 

Turned anti-clockwise will give more ROARER-mini in the mix.

Turned clockwise will give more PURRER-mini in the mix.


FS MODE

Function of FS footswitch:

Middle = A/B, Flip/Flop.  

Right = PURRER On/Off.  

Left = ROARER On/Off.


FS

Active Effects Footswitch. Function is determined by FS MODE.


ON

Engage Effect / Buffered-Bypass. Indicated by large white status LED.


IN

Input - 6.35mm (1/4”) mono jack cable.


OUT

Output - 6.35mm (1/4”) mono jack cable.


9V

9V DC 2.1mm centre negative power supply input.

The current draw of this Monochrome Double is less than 30mA.
