Hi all. Recent thread about the HX Effects has made me realise it just doesn't suit me and I can do what I need to do with cheaper stuff that I prefer.

Includes the power supply but no box, and also a cheap plastic expression pedal.

£250 £240 £230 £225 £195 £185 delivered, however please note the following (in addition to no box).

- the top middle screen scribble strip thing is broken and only shows half the display. If you do what I do and edit on the PC via the USB then it's ok, even if you do it on the unit itself you can just assign stuff to other switches while editing. But it is clearly an issue hence cheaper price

- the other two top screens have some marks around the edges of the display but they still work fine. It's clearly taken a knock at some point (I bought it like this to be fair!)

- there are several scratches on the knobs and screens but again nothing that hampers you using the unit really.

- at this price I'll keep the expression pedal as it's only a cheap flimsy thing anyway

Trades or part-ex I'd be interested in would be:
Preamp pedal or small amp modelling unit
Basic but good overdrives or distortions, or a flexible boost
Loop switcher type thing - how ever many loops as long as it's more than 1

I shouldn't be saying this, but I always like stuff like:

Small amps
Cheap pedals, "inspired by" stuff like a Rat, Dyna Comp, or Joyo Sweet baby and similar low gain drives
Preamp or "all in one" type thing, I like the Digitech RP360 as it's the same models as my GSP1101 rack thing, but that's a bit niche so come at me with your Amplifires, Sansamps, Zoom G whatevers, that kind of thing.
Cheap semi acoustic or thinline type guitar, ideally smaller bodies as I'm a small guy
Bit niche, but a Cubase capable computer, desktop or laptop.

But even if you have something other than these you fancy offering, please do otherwise the HX is just going to sit in the wardrobe forever doing nothing and that would be so DESPERATELY SAD FOR US ALL

It could well just be a case of the ribbon connector having come loose or the connection needing to be cleaned or reseated. At worst, the scribble strip could be replaced. You can buy them here. If I wanted an HX Effects, I’d buy this one and replace it, but then again, I love taking things apart.

Hi,
I don't know if you're still after one, but I've got a Wharfedale titan pro 12 active PA speaker, it's got some scuffs but is in perfect working order (I've also got a spare with a fault in the circuitry somewhere, should you want it for spares).
I've also got a Peavey Bandit 112 Silver Stripe in great condition, and a Peavey 4x12 cab. I'm in Telford if you'd like to arrange a meet or anything.

And also thanks @drphibes but I'm not sure I'd have a use for that one unfortunately, it's a bit above my quality level but also the sounds would be largely wasted on my style of playing.

To save the erroneous bumping, as I don't want to fall foul of Classifieds Mods, perhaps if anybody has any trade ideas it might be better to drop me a PM instead so my crappy little threads don't end up sat at the top of the lists unnecessarily
