Preferably a TC one ,ideally simple one knob version.
It is for my 9 year old niece.
Although she's probably more tech savvy than me !!

    Landlord FX single footswitch, single balance knob, red/green status LED, 10 minutes storage - £49 and free "saver" delivery.
    Landlord FX is the "house brand" of micro pedals made for the GAP (GuitarGuitar, Andertons, PMT) buying group.  It's just as good as any of the similar but brand named looper pedals with the same spec I have used, for example the TC Electronics Ditto that costs about £65.  It is a micro pedal with no space for a battery, so you would need to factor in the cost of a 9v power supply unit if you don't already have one.  Add on about £9 for a Tourtech PSU, buy two of the Landlord FX pedals and get a PSU with a 5-way daisy chain power cable for "free", or pay about £6 for a generic no-brand eBay one.

    Alternative micro pedals of a similar type are the Mooer Micro Looper for about £65, the Mooer Groove Loop micro looper with basic drum patterns for about a tenner more, the Nux brand of much the same thing for around the same price.  I actually prefer the floor stability of a full size looper pedal like the Boss Loop Station RC-1 with the soft touch switch, but it's about double the price of the cheapest micro pedal loopers.

    The Donner Island Delay Looper seems to be well regarded. £55 delivered from their website, but I got an email the other day saying it was £40 for the day. Not sure how often they do that...
