I’m looking for a Gibson 57 bridge humbucker to replace the 490t in my Gibson Sg Special preferably in zebra config.

    Have you actually tried a '57 Classic in the bridge/Treble position of your SG? You might be better served by a Classic Plus or one of the BurstBucker models.

    Depends whether you seek a change of tone, output level or both.

    If your 490T has exposed bobbins, you could change how it sounds by replacing the stock Alnico 2 bar magnet with an A4, A5 or A8 magnet.
