Until I bought this (after sampling innumerable unsatisfactory Klones), I'd struggled to understand the furore around the mighty Klon. However, once I'd hooked this beaming red box to my amps (and it's as effective on the clean as it is on your overdrive channel), I suddenly believed. It really is excellent as that 'always on' pedal providing either X factor presence to your rhythm sound, or authoritative drive tones on the dirtier side of the street.
Yes, it's red - and it has been suggested that this is too much of a shocking departure from the silver/gold norm. And I've changed the oxblood knobs for white; another example of sacrilege. Whilst I can't un-red the pedal, I will gladly offer the original, duskier knobs to the buyer. Red Guy comes complete with the pink foam lined Ceriatone box (kind of like a Gibson/Lifton case for a Les Paul...). FWIW, I believe Ceriatone are one of those miracle manufacturers who want to (and do) do things right, to provide guitarists with extraordinary kit at fair prices.
As you can see, there is a single ding on the top where I dropped a jack end onto it - sorry, pardon, unforgivable and all that - but at least it proves this has been used, and it has to be said, much loved. I'll post this anywhere in mainland UK for the advertised price of £180.
