Faith Naked Mercury Durability

Hi folks.  Tempted by one of these parlour models and wondering just how exposed the surface is? I don't mind a ding or few on the back/front or size but despise chunks out the neck.

Thanks all

I've never had a naked Mercury but I believe the satin finish to top /back/sides and neck is similar to a Naked Venus I once had. The finish to the top, back and sides (solid spruce / mahogany) and neck (mahogany) is quite durable and I wouldn't worry too much about this.

However, there is no edge binding to the top and back with the sides which leaves the guitar a bit vulnerable to edge dings.

@GTC. Can't help my dear, sorry. But try one, see how you like it. If you bond, maybe buy it and try your best to keep those knocks to a minimum :)

I was looking to buy one of these some time ago and did a bit of research. It seems they do mark easily and it put me off.
