Presumably, these are the bog standard, basic -707s rather any of the variants with additional letters at the end of the product name.

Same direct-mount housings as an EMG-35 series bass guitar pickup?
    Be seeing you.

I have a pending repair/set-up job, allegedly arriving today, on a budget Ibanez seven stringer. It is possible that the owner wants to upgrade the pickups.
    Be seeing you.

Fantastic. Let me know if they choose to go that way :)

The Ibanez seven string finally showed up. It's a 2012 RG7321. Pickups are direct mount humbuckers.
    Be seeing you.
