Recommend a Neck Support Block

Can anybody recommend a neck support block for changing strings and basic guitar maintenance?

Get an old towel... fold it a couple of times lengthwise so it's about a foot wide or less... and roll it up. If you want you can tie a loop of string around the middle to keep it tight.

As above I’d always improvised with a towel, cushion, etc.

I got this as a birthday present last year and it works fine for me.

I use a shooting rest bag. Does the job pretty well

I use a section of foam pipe insulation. If I leave a towel in the workshop it inevitably picks up dust and splinters. The foam doesn’t.

I got a cheap cork one from Thomann, but the same sort of thing is available on Amazon etc. Prior to that, I used a plastic bag full of sand, taped shut and wrapped in an old t shirt.

If I'm honest, the bag of sand was possibly better for string changes and the like, although it weighed a shitload more and took up more room.

I bought a rather nice one from Rich Tone Music - but I've hardly ever used it, generally favouring a rolled / scrunched up towel or a cushion for most things.

Keep meaning to buy one but have always used a towel, cushion or an old bean bag type thing that is for photographic use.

I do find that the guitar often slips/moves though so maybe a stand would be better.
