    Brilliant that is indeed a score! Pick up too by the looks of it.
    Did you get the full fat neck or the more moderate option?
    Long story...I had one of these but somehow managed to let it go

    Is this the one off the MM forum? You did well, if so. I've got the LTR with a soft V neck, and it's not going anywhere :)

    @TrevinDevon @Gandalph ;

    What Strings/ Gauge do you use on your Waterloo ?  Just Curious..
    I have Newtone 12s Masterclass on this one......cant make up my mind, might go down to 11s
    Thanks

    I used Martin Monel 12's on the WL14 and they were a great match.

    The same in 11's not as great on the Wlk though, since changed to Newtone 11's 80/20 on that one and it sings.

    I'm still experimenting myself on the 14 (haven't had it long), although I use Heritage PB rather than Masterclass, and I think I'll end up with 12s. I haven't tried Monels. I imagine either Heritage 11s or 12s will be fine if you play mainly in standard, but 12s better if you tune down. (I did try some 10s, but they felt far too loose.) Like @Gandalf, I have 80/20s on the WL-K. Are you looking to improve tone or playability?

    A bit of both probably.
    The guitar will most probably stay in Standard, as l have a 12 fret Eastman l keep in Open G.
    I'm lazy at changing strings but l think l will have to experiment, Monels /Heritage 11s and 12s....
