I’ve got a budget build on the go, it’s looking good but it needs a pickup, I’m thinking early Holdsworth look single humbucker. In an ideal world it’s an “F”’spaced zebra but Interested in what you have. I’m thinking second hand IronGear/Tonerider/Wilkinson is where I’m at so £25-30 ish

  • If you've not already snapped up one of the offers above, and if you have some single coils to trade, I have an Oil City Blitz Spirit (double white) that I'm looking to shift.

Sounds great but I’ve got nothing to trade I’m afraid

I've got an Irongear Rolling Mill Alnico 5 that I'm about to remove from a guitar - It's zebra and in great condition. Not F spaced but I've never noticed an issue! £20 posted?

That’s a very interesting option, if I’m being honest it’s either yours or @exocet ’s Dimarzio

It’s nothing completely revolutionary just a slight tweak on the classic Humbucker pickup. As serendipity would have it I have previously had one that was almost identical which was very cool but stayed in a guitar that ultimately got sold .
I will explain more when I post pics of the completed build. And at my current work rate that will be 2nd qtr 2024...
