OK, this is actually one of the “Guitars at Oxfam”. As I live the other side of town it seemed worth the journey.

The “good” guitars are not on display as they’re technically in the online store but they were happy to let me try one out on a stool. I don’t normally make quick decisions but this felt right straight away and they’d apparently been some interest online.

So this is now hanging on my stand

Martin 00015m, all mahogany 14 fret.

    Fantastic :).

Makes my charity shop £20 Vintage V300M seem a bit less impressive!

Thanks, yours was probably still better value though!

Like Martins. Are we allowed to know how much you paid?   :)

As the price is on the other thread it’s no secret, I paid a grand for it. Apart from a minor dent on the lower bout it looks virtually new. I’d have paid a little less for it elsewhere but wasn’t prepared to bargain a charity down.

Yours didn't need most of the Satanic Verses and half an entire bottle of superglue cleaning off it though, I'll bet ;).

Ah. Didn't spot that. Happy NGD.

    Lovely guitar ... enjoy.

You’re right there; don’t think it even needed dusting.

I can imagine some poor bloke in Oxford going through a messy break-up. Upon returning to collect his belongings from a bitter ex, he asks, "Er, seriously. Where are all my guitars?"
"Oxfam sweetheart. One has already sold."

Nice result. I remember visiting the original Oxford Oxfam shop back in the early 80's & thinking it was not a charity shop, but a carefully curated antique shop.
