WITHDRAWN NO LONGER FOR SALE

This is a Mark Cameron HG Jose it has a 5 way rotary voicing selector on the back and two gain controls.the amp is signed by Mark and is not gooped and I have been told this was one of his early Jose amps ,I will not do gutshots. the only way to look at the circuit is to buy the amp .... so if you are a fledgling amp modder fishing for info then look elsewhere .

This by far the best Cameron I have ever Heard and I have owned and heard quite a few   , This amp has plenty of gain and has an excellent touch response and stellar marshall tones it sounds like a true marshall but with much higher gain.  it will easily cop lynch, Demartini etc , some of Camerons stuff is hit and miss and some are downright bad and some are great ... this is one of the really great ones .the platform for the mod is a 1983 JCM800 . the amp is very pedal friendly
the cab is 20th anniversary JCM800 and the speakers are G12 65 lead cones 1777 cones . I have tried various speakers with the amp and I like the G12 65 the best by far with this amp.

Price for the amp and cab as a pair is £1600 or I will split the items.
I will ship if possible or meet up or deliver or you can pick up in person ,I do recommend hearing the amp in person as once you have heard it you WILL want to buy it
if you do not know me my name is Ian drucker. I will leave this here for a couple of days then it goes on Ebay on sunday
I am located in caerphilly in south wales

Killer amp this one guys and if I had not just bought my Cameron CCV I would have bought this yesterday when it was listed.. Probably the nicest Cameron modded marshall I've heard.. Ian's great to deal with also!!

  • Am based in north london. Weirdly there might already be a very brief youtube clip of this very amp, or at least one that looks identical. Search for "Cameron Jose" and you will find it

Hi James yes there is I forgot about that one but...
that clip is a Million miles from how the amp actually sounds or what it is capable of . I think the person who made the clip must of been dialling it in to sound like a boogie . I think the clip sounds awful and is a piss poor representation.

In reality the amp dials in with a perfect marshall tone and it also feels like a Marshall in terms of playing feel
The amp is quite versatile and produces a wide range of sounds due to the 5 way rotary on the back , the 5 way rotary changes the clipping and revoices the amp and all 5 positions are very usable , the amp is also great with every guitar I have used with it ,

so far I have owned three Cameron CCV 100  two of those were Meh and one was good but not great. I have owned one other Cameron HG LG Jose which was pants and a Cameron Aldrich which was a great amp ,I have also heard and played various other Camerons and the Cameron HG Jose I have for sale absolutely CRUSHES all the others I have owned or heard . it is not just a small difference between them it is a huge difference. this one is head and shoulders above all the others... I have only ever heard one other Cameron that sounded on a par with the one that I have for sale and that was ALSO an incrediblle sounding amp it was a first run CCV and like a fool I didnt buy it and then since I have .that is never found another CCV or any Cameron that sounded as good because they are so hit and miss. that is until I bought the one I am selling here . there are quite a few good camerons out there BUT..
there are very few REALLY great ones some of them absolutely shine and are incredible amps ,this is one of them one of the Really good ones .I have people/friends who are telling me EVERY day a couple of times a day NOT to sell this rig as the chances are I will NEVER EVER find one this good again and I know they are right but... I need the money ,I dont want to sell this but I need a car and if I could raise funds some other way then I would....
I have not only compared this amp to other Camerons but other Makers amps as well.  I have had it in the room with bogners soldano SLO. splawns. Friedman BE 100 various boogies CAE/suhr golub lead mod and The cameron I have for sale had the strongest Marshall vibe out of all of them . the only one I felt was comparable was the BE 100 but.. the BE 100 only kept up with my cameron when the BE 100 was set for classic rock sounds and when the BE 100 was set for modded marshall levels of gain then My Cameron was way ahead....
I should add thats just my opinion of course I dont want to offend other amp owners...
