WTB Valve Head For Gigging

Hello All

Following a subject to cash changing hands sale on my Peavey i'd like to buy a new head.

What have you guys got that you'd like to get rid of then???

Needs to be giggable so i'd say above 15 watts for sure. But below 80 watts to match my cab
Valve
Ideally Twin Channel
Go well with my 1x12 V30 loaded cab ( so i'm thinking full size head is out of the question.
Will be used solely for gigs and rehearsals. Currently play a wide range of covers.  not a huge amount of clean and i'm happy backing off the volume on the guitars for that sort of sound. Can also boost the gain with a drive pedal no problems.
Going to be used on the whole with both a HB Equipped LP and a P90 flavoured LP

I really like Marshall type tones.

My maximum budget is £250 or £250 plus trades.

Either that or feel free to reccomend me something :)

    Hi mate.
I've got a Roost sr25 for sale for £250. It's been up a while, so feel free to make an offer. It's fifty watts, single channel. If you have a look on my profile it's on my discussions.
    Dave.

I've not heard of them before - what are they like voicing wise etc?

Laney Cub Head -  Immaculate condition - 15w but certainly giggable if you don't need pristine cleans. It'll do them but our tub thumper is very heavy handed so I had little clean room in reserve. Dirtied up, it had plenty of oomph - I ran it through a 1x12 with an eminence Wizard. Single channel but fx loop and reverb.  £165 collected from East Grinstead, West Sussex.

OK the cub sounds very interesting to me. I'll check out some you tube sounds at lunchtime :)

Check out the Gilmourish website - most of his pedal demos are done on a Cub Head..

@gubble. They're sort of Hiwatt of sounding. Just without the eye watering prices.

I've got a Peavey Windsor 120W head - more than 80W and single channel but definitely Marshall-esque!
