FT - Fender "The Twin" 1994 model

Hello there,

I just thought i'd put this up here out of interest and I'll be supplying photographs shortly,
but I was just wondering if someone would be interested in trading for a Deluxe Reverb or a Vox amp?

I'm looking for a more convenient amp which I can still get those massive chiming tones out of, still compete with the drummer and can handle pedals!

I'll post up some photos tonight.

I'm based in Bristol, UK.

I have an AC30 I might be tempted to trade, but you are miles away from me!

It's basically a Twin Amp I believe as it has the gain circuit, but it isn't the red knob version.

It's 100W with a step down stage to 40W. Three circuits, one clean, two gain channels, reverb, effects loop.

    It's one of these. :)

It is similar to the evil twin but it doesn't have as many boost knobs.

It has a gain boost that works on both channels and it really brings the sound out of your effects pedals.

Great amp and light for a twin.
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

  • If I'm basing it on what other amps are being sold for on eBay I'd say roughly 450.
However, I'm amazed these amps are sold for so cheaply and that the DRRI's are that much more expensive? :(
