Ok so starting the next project, before i start hunting about thought i would ask here first 
Neck cant have maple fretboard , body paint condition not important at all as its getting stripped. hopefully it will end up looking something like this in the end

    Why not get a cheap  squire tele and work from there?

    Did you sell th  Tom delonge Epi ?
    I still have  that cheap strat that was  yours.I relice'd the  body ,has fender Tex mex pickups,cts pots and good spec wiring, set up professionally with 10-52 strings,had fret stoned and  neck relief done. plays  and sounds great.keep contemplating getting.  a fender classic player series Stratocaster.but play mine and  it stops the 'GAS'.... ha.

    I’ve got a Mexican Fender body that has been stripped by the PO. I’ve stained it black and have started applying Tru Oil.

    It needs the job completing but it’s going to look ace imho. I’d need to see £95 for it. Any good? Pics:

    Hey @marktheharp im good man, the Delonge now lives with a pal of mine and can see seen gigging around Bradford and Leeds most weekends, that cheap strat has a bloody great neck man.
