WTB Bare Knuckle the Mule

Hi

I am on the journey to find my sound . Particularly a neck pickup ( humbucker) .
I hear a lot of good comments about bk the mule and I'd like to try it .
I am Not willing to put my money on a new set as they are expensive , so I am hoping someone has 2nd hand for sale a bit cheaper.

Thanks . At this stage I won't make a fuss about colour or cover etc as long as it works as it should and price isn't wallet killer I'll consider everything .
How much do you want to sell it for ?

I am not familiar with custom plates and rather have Bare Knuckle plate for easy resale purpose .
What model is it?

No idea I’m afraid, the guy I bought the guitar from which they came out of said it was a bare knuckle and he’d changed the base plate to a PAF lookalike. I’m not after much for it as I don’t have any idea how to prove it. The Monty is labelled as such. £90 for the 2 I was thinking.

Is the Monty a neck pickup or the other way around? What sort of sound are they producing ?
I am particularly focused on clean only as this is what I play and not really like neck pickup to be muddy or super bright either.

The Monty is the neck pickup and it was quite full sounding, plenty of bass and warmth. The bare knuckle is a bridge position one and sounded great, just like a PAF type should. I only changed them out as I got a great deal on a set by a new builder as an artist. They’re a great set, just no longer required by me.
