The secret gem of the Celestion range, one of my favourite speakers. Sweet and neutral sounding, but not bland,

very much like a higher power Greenback. It's also very linear in how it sounds, so sounds great with low power amps too.

16 ohms, excellent condition, very nearly mint. £40 posted.

    I'm currently running a Blackstar HT5 head into a Line6 Flextone III extension cab which, according to some, has a speaker quite similar to the Celestion Seventy 80.  

    I've noticed recently that it sounds really harsh at higher volumes and there's not much bass.  Would this speaker be a better candidate?

    Definitely. The Hot 100 is a far better speaker than the Seventy 80 IMO. :)
