Relic Esquire/ Tele body for sale

Hi,

Looking to move this one on, sale for Esquire/ Tele body only:

Body UK luthier made I believe, not Fender but it is of a decent quality. Not the lightest, probably 4.5lbs or so. Will still make a relatively decent partsocaster if that's your thing. Very marmite I know, it's not trying to be ultra realistic wear and tear or vintage correct or fool anyone. It was a bit of fun and the guitar bolted together one nightshift a few years back. Hate it then fair enough, like it then feel free to get in touch.

My memory isnt great, I think it may have come from Neil at Ivison Guitars but it is not his work, I just got it from him when buying some other bits and bobs.

I'm keeping the neck and have a nice early 60s sunburst Tele body on order now so this can go. Item located in the Glasgow area but will post at cost.

Still available and can work a price with the hardware too if required. Proper harness fitted, one of my own so all the good stuff (TVT CTS, PIO cap, cloth wire, Switchcraft jack and OAK switch). Pickup is a Mojo 50s one, rock n roll.

Been asked for a price for the entire body/ hardware etc on this. Ok, so if you imagine including everything (I.e all you need to do is fit a neck and do a setup to make a full guitar) then for this would be £210 shipped within the UK.

Thanks James, I'd completely forgotten the JayDee guys had made this. Knew it was UK made but I'd totally forgotten by whom.

Great project this one was, lot of guitar for not much money and like I said it was just a bit of fun and apologies to anyone that truly hates it!

From my addled mind I think WD, it's not you know a Crazyparts or vintagey special expensive type one if that makes sense. I think I ran the usual slurry over it just to attempt to dull down the new look on it but yeah, just a new generic one.
