  • Welcome to tFB.

Sensors are now offered in several appearances and tone/output level “flavours” - including dual coil versions. Which ones do you require?

    Be seeing you.

  • I think gold set for Strat will be my preference. But I might consider other combinations like the Strat pluses had (red, silver, blue I think...)

I have a pair of Lace Gold Sensors, in the cream covers, with enough output cable for the neck and middle positions.

Add a Red Sensor of the same appearance in the bridge position and you should cover most eventualities without resorting to battery-powered boosters.

Apologies for the crappy photographs but you get the idea.

  • FYI, I've got a Red sensor of the same vintage as those - with the metal baseplate and ears (and similarly yellowed plastic):

The Blue has long since gone, though.

  • If anyone interested in; I can also trade EMG DG-20 loaded pick-guard for the lace gold loaded pick-guard...

Was your red Sensor cover cream to begin with or naturally aged white that now matches with the Fender "Parchment" pickguard colour? I could be interested.
