I bought this to try to beef up the sound of the bridge pickup on my Jackson SL2H (as discussed on here - https://www.thefretboard.co.uk/discussion/143130/jackson-sl2h-thin-and-brittle-sounding). To be fair it did the job, but it didn't really "pair" well with the guitar, and I ended up swapping back to the stock pickup.

I left the full length of the cable as supplied and didn't even strip down the cable any further so apart from some solder residue on the tips, it's exactly as it came. It probably spent a few days in the guitar tops, and a few hours' playing.

As with all boxed SD pickups that I've encountered, it's supplied with a 5-wire cable for full tonal possibilities.

    Just revisited this post and realised you've actually mislabelled it mate. That's a TB-14, Custom 5, not a TB-5 Custom...
