Up for sale - Mark Foley Big Iron Low Wind Strat pickups, with full wiring by Mark (and a very nice job it looks too!). CTS pots and CRL 5 way switch (standard Strat wiring). Comes with a treble bleed which Mark recommends with these pickups, although if you don't want it the cap can easily by snipped off. Pickups are standard staggered poles, which have been aged by Mark. It all comes attached to a single ply white scratchplate to keep everything safe.

I ordered this from Mark last Autumn, when I was thinking of ditching my main Strat's current pickups, but typically I then found my love for them again so these have just sat in the box since they arrived.

Big Iron Low Wind Strat Pickup Set

A set of low wind pickups wound with a DCR around 5.6/5.7/5.8K Ohms. these readings may vary slightly as the design is based on inductance more than resistance. These are the pickups used by all the tone hunters out there, check out the videos of the Big Irons to see why. These pickups are available with a choice of staggers. All sets use A5 poles.
