    I only usually see the type with twelve non-adjustable stud polepieces.

    Yes I think they are DiMarzio PAF Pro lookalikeys. I'm sure the originals (unlike the SD and Dual Sound) had screws'n'slugs.

    The twelve stud ‘buckers in Hondo/SDCurlee instruments were made by DiMarzio down to a price. 

    I have one of the Hondo/Dimarzio P Bass pickups from the same period.

    DiMarzio DP151 PAF Pro has twelve Allen screw polepieces. It is medium-high output. I associate it with Racer X period Paul Gilbert.

    The ol’ DiMarzio PAF is their vintage-spec model. Very nice in the neck/Rhythm position.

    Ah, I always assumed they were just copies.

    Are they definitely Dimarzio? That's a Hondo H1010 which came with mmk45's or H1010D which came with the Dimarzio k10's, the 12 non adjustable slugs, I have never seen adjustable Dimarzios on these.

    I don't know who the OEM is, I just need one to replace the bridge pickup which has a faulty coil.

    For anyone interested, the pickups are Matsumoku MMK45s. Matt at House of Tone Pickups rewound the coil for me.
