    Is that a knot on the back of the body (on the contour)? It looks like it, but the photo is pixelated when I zoom in. It might be a  mark of some sort of course.

    What do you mean with knot? There is that dark woody spot. I don't think that dark spot can affect gutar sound.

    It can do with a neck, but with a body I don't think so.
