SOLD - Jazzmaster style neck, maple with maple board, block inlays, has issues... £22 posted
I have this neck now surplus to requirements. I was using it for my Jazzmaster build but it has an issue that I couldn't be bothered fixed so I'm letting it go.
Here is the original description:
Width at Nut: 42mm
Number of Frets: 22
Frets: heavy/jumbo 2.9mm wide
Neck Wood: Canadian Maple
Fingerboard Wood: Maple
Black block neck inlays
Skunk stripe on back
Width at Heel: 56mm
Depth at Heel: 27mm
Scale length 648mm
Neck radius 9.5"
10mm peg holes
Essentially the nut does not line up with the tuners. The tuner holes need plugging with 10mm dowels and redrilling in the correct position. The headstock has been shaped to a Jazzmaster style and sanded smooth but will need refinishing. I have also drilled the neck bolt holes for my build so these will probably not suit a standard fit. Again you will need to plug this and sand them flush. There is also a small dink in the nut slot. Truss rod is working and under tension the neck is straight.
Build thread is here if you want to see how I was getting on with it:
